Time a pause?

I'm creating a simulation. On one screen, learner fills in a TEB, then clicks a check box. A check fills the box and they move to the next screen.

Is there a way to create some kind of timed pause, so learner sees check mark before moving to next screen?

    Can you show the action triggered by the click on the check box? Does it have a pause? As Rick points out you need to combine the action with the timeline functionality.

    I believe the way you would accomplish that is by simply having the play resume and have the filled in check box presented for however long you want before moving to the next slide.
