Time line - strange behaviour

Question

In my captivate project I get the following problem which appears to happen randomly:

The timeline partially disappears so I am unable to select a particular point in the slide. As you view the slide, red parallel lines appear where the time line was (see image below).

The only way I can get the time line back is to close and then reopen the project.

I'm running the latest version and previous forum discussions on this subject are dated 2 years ago - is this the same "bug"?

Latest version, that is great (9.0.2.437). When you installed the patches did you Clean the Preferences and delete the folders mentioned in the release note?

I didn't see issues with the timeline lately, except some refreshing issues when rearranging the timelines vertically (stack order). Is refreshing the workspace or changing to another slide not helping? I suppose you are using the newbie UI? No way to drag panels, or create workspaces that means. But you can reset the unique 'Classic' Workspace.
