Timing advanced actions

Question

I have a text box on the screen and i have the timeline widget. I want to show the text first and then hide the text and show the widget. I know I can do this by just moving the widget down the timeline, but is there a way to create a conditional action that says...at a certain time hide the text and show the widget?

It is never a good idea to push a widget later on the timeline. Why not split up that slide in two slides?

If you are using Captivate 9, there is a new command 'Delay Next actions by...' which you could try. If you want to see a short demo, look at the movie in this article:
