Hi,

I am trying to get a list of text captions appear one by one when entering the page.

Issue 1:

When entering the page the whole list shows and then the entry I set up starts. I need list to be absent as you enter the page and then appear one by one.

Issue 2:

For the first text caption on the list the entrance entry is:

Event start: 0 sec

Event duration: 2 sec

This works well on entry to the page

For the second text caption on the list the entrance entry is:

Event start: 5 sec

Event duration: 2 sec

This does not occur

Event start: 5 sec

Event duration: 7 sec

This does not occur

Event start: 1 sec

Event duration: 2 sec

This works

Why are the first 2 event timings not working?

Hi Chris,

If you are experiencing some weirdness in the settings, a simple fix should be to just manually position the elements on the timeline to appear when you want and then set them for "rest of slide"  I suspect you have them all in a group, which might be causing the issue.

Have you checked your timeline for the presence of an interactive object that might be pausing it around the 2 second mark?

Thank you for responding

All unused items removed from library. I only have "next slide" and "previous slide" buttons, a couple of images and timed entry events. Not sure what else to look for?
