Timing Issue

I'm having an issue with time.  The slide is playing as it should, but after 1 second the play button in the skin changes as if it was paused.  The slide continues to play, but the time doesn't count unless the play button is clicked or the "Text Entry Submit" button is clicked.  Hasn't anyone experienced this before?

Audio is not paused by the pausing point of an interactive object, common misunderstanding. That is why I asked to see a screenshot of the timeline. You can pause the audio with the Pause button on the playbar (or with a custom Pause button that uses the Pause command). An interactive object, waiting for an action of the user will not pause the audio, it will pause the slide. Objects that are timed to appear after that pausing point of the interactive object will not appear.

Can you show the timeline of that slide? When you say 'play' do you perhaps mean that the audio is continuing?

Yes, the audio is still playing even though it is paused
