TOC and widget editing

I am very new to Captivate and need assistance to do two things...

1) Edit the text in a widget... I know this can be done since a coworker did it but I am stuck as to how to do this...

2) Fix my table of contents... I have titled my slides but the titles aren't appearing in the table of contents AND when you click on the each TOC link it launches some strange slide that is not part of my presentation...

PLEASE HELP!

    I edited your title, because it was not telling anything about the content of your question.

    Post a screenshot of the 'widget' you are talking about, please!

    Cannot help with your widget issue until I know which specific widget and piece of text you are trying to edit.  Please insert a screenshot in your next post using the small camera icon on the toolbar so that we can see more clearly.

    Regarding your TOC, after naming your slides, you need to go into the Project > Skin Editor > TOC settings dialog and regenerate the TOC to show the changes.  Look for a small, insignificant button right at the bottom of the TOC in that view. That's what you need to click.  Then you may find you now have too many slides in the TOC and need to deselect the ones you DON'T want to appear.
