ToC Captivate 5

I am using Adobe Captivate 5 on a Mac Pro (5,1) running 10.6.6. I am using a Table of Contents (ToC) and the client wants to change the icon on the ToC status from a checkmark to a filled in circle upon the completion of a slide, and an unfilled-in circle when the slide has yet to be completed. Is it possible to change that icon?

How about is it possible to change the double arrows for a pop-out ToC to a tab that says "Dock" and put a gradient behind the ToC (I have images)?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi,

There is no option provided in Captivate to change the checkmark icon. However, the icon to collapse/expand TOC in pop-up TOC type can be set from the Option : Menu item Project -> Table of contents -> Settings. Under Runtime options, Expand icon/ Collapse icon. Here you can assign any image you require.

For colouring and gradients for TOC, you may use the same window mentioned above ( TOC Settings). Here you have options for Style, Color and Alpha.

Please let me know if this is helpful.

Thanks,

Sushma

Yes that is helpful.

Is there some dimension limitation to how big the collapse/expand icon can be? I tried to make something fairly big and it kept shrinking the icon to really small sizes.

Thanks,

Mike

There in fact is a limitation to the size of the image and this is fixed. Whatever be the size of the image chosen, CP will always scale the image to the standard size. You will not be able to modify the size of the image.
