TOC not working after HTML5 conversion

Hi all - I am converting several courses from Flash to HTML5 using the latest version of Captivate 11.5.1.499. These are non-responsive, originally created in Captivate 9. My challenge is the TOC - it locks up the course every time I try to access it in testing, and the only way out is to cancel and start over. It does this in each of the three modules I have looked at so far. I have searched but can't find any commentary on this. Here's a screen shot of the settings; any ideas why this is happening? I appreciate any thoughts you may have on this issue.

After spending an inordinate amount of time on this problem, I am embarrassed to report that the problem was an errant pop-up blocker all along; with that disengaged, everything works just fine. So with a very red face I am posting this here in case some other hapless person has a similar challenge with the hope that someone else can recoup the time I have wasted, LOL!

Perhaps the project was using a customised Theme and this is now corrupt or does not work with later versions of Captivate.

To test, take a copy of your project file and change the Theme to one of the basic Captivate themes.  See if the TOC then functions as expected.  If it does, you may need to rebuild your theme again from scratch to replicate the same look and feel.  But at least then it will work predictably.

Thank you, Rod. This seemed like it might be the solution but I have tested with multiple basic themes and still have the same challenge with each of them. The TOC opens as it should but when I click on any of the items, the screen locks and spins for a while, then frees up without moving to a new screen, then continues to lock and spin over and over again until I cancel out. Any other thoughts on what the challenge might be?

This is sounding like it might be some kind of project corruption.

Try copying all slides into a new blank project file of the same dimensions to see if the TOC behaves differently once you do that.

Please update to the most recent version which is 11.5.5.553. You are on an older one.

Nothing has really changed for the TOC, if you now publish to HTML5 instead of SWF.  In the screenshot I only see that the width of the TOC is not the default width, but I don't think that could be a problem.

Was the theme updated to version 11.5? There have been many changes to that feature and it may be the origin of your problems.

Thank you, Lieve. I have updated to the latest version of Captivate, but is there something additional I need to do to update themes in particular? The update did nothing to fix my issue.
