Captivate 2017. Mac.

From a very helpful conversation with lilybiri yesterday, we came to the conclusion that my working files have picked up a bug. I'm wondering if this is another example or a known issue I can fix. The TOC scrollbar is dropping out...

And to be clear the channel artifact did not appear during Preview before I switched the theme, so no difference.

Wasn't sure you meant change the Theme using the Skin Editor (which I did above) or with the Big Theme Button, but I did the latter just now without any change to the artifact. Also, I'm working at 1920 x 1080 but I just resized down to Blank Theme's default 1024 x 627, and that didn't make a difference either.

I cannot recall ever seeing this issue before.  If you can open a new Blank project and this doesn't happen, even when you apply the same Theme across the project, then It would seem your current problem project must have become corrupted.

Try copying all slides from that project into a new blank shell project of the same size.

Hi Rod,

Thanks for your time!

I applied Captivate Default.

Unchecked show playback controls.

Unchecked show borders.
The artifact doesn't appear during Preview, only after publishing as HTML5, uploading and viewing at a url.

I rebuilt my file from the ground up and got the same issue. Anyone?

Maybe this is due to your Theme.

Take a copy of your CPTX and apply a different theme to it.  Does the issue disappear then?
