Transfer/Route user defined variables to LMS (SCORM 1.2)

Hello,

I'm using Captivate 2017 and in my application I have captured some user entered data on user variables. I would like this data stored in LMS, so I can perform data analytics over them at a later point. I understand using Javascript, this can be accomplished.

At the moment, I have my Javascript variables containing user provided data, but do not know how to route them to LMS. 

I don't know how to establsih the plumbing between Captivate and LMS. The setting page does create that connection, but it routes only Pass/Fail or other pre-defined information. I would like user variables /javascript variables also stored.

Any help here is appreciated.
