Translation of TOC titles and TOC button on control playbar

Hi,

I am using Captivate 7. In addition to the captions in the module, I need to translate the titles in the Table of Contents as well as the TOC button that appears on the playback control bar. I exported the captions but do not see the slide titles listed there for translation.

1. Is there a way to export the slide titles, have them translated, and then re-import so the TOC is updated.

2. Can I rename the TOC button to something else? Like Menu and then have Menu translated (Not sure TOC translates well to other languages)

3. If I can do #2, can the button be larger than the three letters TOC?

    Any changes you want to make to the playbar that are not allowed by default in the Skin Editor would require custom AS3 programming. If you cannot program in AS3, you'd need to engage the services of a programmer.

    As far as I am aware, there is not currently any way to export the Slide Titles for localisation.  You may just need to change them manually for translation.  Then you would need to update your TOC so that the translated slide titles appeared.

    for #2 She just wants the TOC button to say something different. Surely you don't need an as3 programmer for that?

    You WILL at least need to be familiar with FLASH if you're trying to edit the FLA file that generates the SWF that gives you the playbar.
