Translations from EN to FR

Hi everyone - So I exported the Porject Captions/Closed Captions into the .doc format as normal, those files went out for translations, came back as .docx files. Captivate is giving the option to import them back in, but nothing is importing, reads as 0. Is this because of the clients re-save?? is the path broken and is there anyway to fix other then copy/paste?? This is over 1200+ slides so I am trying to avoid that...

Thanks for the help!

Lieve is correct.  Importing as a .doc file is a good idea.

But if that still doesn't work, export another MS Word document from the same project and compare the two Word docs side by side, paying particular attention to the codes in the two left-most columns of the table in the document.

Do those codes match up? If they do not, did you continue making changes to the CPTX file AFTER you exported the Word doc and sent it off for translation?

It is important to keep both the Word and the Captivate file in the original formatting, without any editing. Please try to save the Word file in the doc format and import it to the Captivate file. No change in file names neither.
