Transparent Background on Image

After importing an image (jpg) and selecting a transparent background color in properties, the background image will then bleed through the defined transparent background of the imported image. The results of publishing does not match the same while editing the file. What happens is the defined transparent becomes a solid image, which covers the background completely.

Yeah, jpg is a lossy format that doesn't actually support transparency. When
you 'force' ot to transparent, you'll get a speckled effect as the host
application tries to make white transparent. Go with PNG.

Hi there,

I would suggest that you try saving your graphic as a PNG with a transparent background. When it comes to transparency I tend to find that Captivate works better with PNGs than it does with JPEGs.
