Transparent Captivate SWF inside a Flash SWF

I've searched on transparent in these forums but can't find what I'm looking for.

I have a Flash SWF that I'm writing in AS2, that's loading a Captivate 3 SWF.

What i need; When the Captivate SWF loads I want Captivate's background/stage to be transparent so the Flash SWF shows behind it. I'm not generating Captivate HTMLs because I'm loading the SWF directly into Flash.

Is there a way for Captivate to have a transparent background in this scenario?

Thanks!
Wil

No, I don't think there is. Any way to do that, that is.

I am constantly amazed at the endless nonconforming ways Flash developers attempt to use Captivate, so I am not surprised by the question. I'll subscribe to the topic, and if you get an answer, I am quite interested in reading it.

    Have a nice day!

I'm using Flash to create a CBT. In this, I let learners select their own background color and settings.

We all know it's easier to create simulations and demos in Captivate, so that's what I'm using. However, they'll be using a phone as a simulation, the phone is much smaller than the flash wrapper. By the time you add text boxes to explain options and give direction, it's bigger than the phone's image, but still smaller than the wrapper. The demo is only a small part of the overall project which has animations etc - thus requiring Flash.

I want the Captivate swf to lay over the Flash contents so that the background they choose shows, not the background used in Captivate. - Is there a way to change the background color of a Captivate SWF using code, to match that of what's in the wrapper?
