Trial Version Questions

I am pretty much ready to purchase this software but have a couple of questions:

1. The trial version I downloaded has "not for commercial use" but in the marketing pitch on-line it says it can be used by business users. What does the "not for commercial use" mean here?

2. I have tried to set the project expiration date but it won't move beyond a month from the creation date -- is this a feature of the trial that will be remedied by purchase of a full license?

3. When is version 2 of the software going to be available -- the website says October -- is it available yet?

Thanks.

    Hello hjpeck,

    1. The trial version I downloaded has "not for commercial use" but in the marketing pitch on-line it says it can be used by business users. What does the "not for commercial use" mean here?

MF: Don't quote me on this but I would imagine that once you purchase Captivate your splash screen should read Full Version because you will have activated the software using a different serial number.

    2. I have tried to set the project expiration date but it won't move beyond a month from the creation date -- is this a feature of the trial that will be remedied by purchase of a full license?

MF: This might be a feature of the trial version since you only get 30 days before the software will become deactivated.

    3. When is version 2 of the software going to be available -- the website says October -- is it available yet?
MF: Yes, Adobe Captivate 2 is now available for purchase. You can obtain by visiting this web page -
http://www.adobe.com/products/captivate/ and clicking on the Buy button.
