Question

triggered audio stops if playhead moves

In Captivate 9, I have different play audio commands attached to different advanced actions.  If I go to a slide and pause that slide everything works ok.  If I jump to a different time in that slide with the cpCmndGotoFrame, the triggered audio will stop.  Is does not matter if there is slide audio or not.

I have tried moving the play audio command up and down in the advanced action and that has no effect.

Any ideas?

John

Does anyone from Adobe want to help out with this problem?

This is a user forum, only rarely someone from the staff pops in.

Sorry, missed your posting. You are jumping 10 frames back in that slide: why? What do you want the audio to do? I can see that you start playing another audio clip after the jump: that clip should start playing. If there is another audio still playing at that time, it should stop automatically, because that is the way Play Audio command is working.

It is not easy to understand your advanced action, a lot has to happen all at the same time. I don't see many statements. Why do you not use the Preview action button to show the total conditional action instead of posting just a partial screenshot of the dialog box? Preview action button is the arrow (play) button, first in the top right control panel.

Can you post a screenshot of the advanced (or shared) action that you are using?

Are you on the last release 9.0.1.320?

Hi Lily,on the latest version.

It does not seem to matter where I put the play command.  All I am doing in the javascript windows is formatting variables to get proper formatting.
