Trouble publishing my Captivate e-learning project

Hello, I'm new to Captivate. I am creating a project and I'm having problems sharing it. I tried to upload to Weebly and Wordpress, but the file is incompatible. After doing some research, I think this is because I made a responsive project. I tried to upload to the Adobe assets site, and I received the following: https://adobe.ly/2svo7Nc  , but, as you can see, just a blank icon shows up. I'm prompted to try uploading as an administrator. I don't know how to do this. I thought I was uploading as an administrator.  I work at a school. Could my security files be interferring?

I can view the project in the Captivate previewer as HTML. Please help if you are able.

Thank you!

If you upload a Captivate project that was published as HTML5 there will be many files involved, not just one or two.

Weebly and Wordpress don't usually make this easy.  You need to have access to the actual folders on the web server where you can create a new folder, put your published Captivate HTML5 files in there and then link to the main HTML file that will launch the project and pull in all the other files it needs.

Sounds to me like you may need to engage the services of some IT help at your school to achieve your goals.

Rod,

It is very kind of you to help me. Would you answer another question. I have access to a GoDaddy account that has Office 365 for business and a company website. Do you think it would be easier to upload there? I don't have IT support on the level you are talking about. I wish I did!

If your GoDaddy account gives you enough access to the file structure of the web server to allow you to create folders and upload your HTML5 output into those folders directly, then it might be easier.
