Is it possible to have more than one question on either a True/False or Fill in the Blank question slide?

Hello,

Do not think Rick will mind my giving a little bit different answer: default True/False question slides can have only one True/False, indeed, but you can have more than one 'blank' for a Fill-in-the-Blank question. Just think that Rick overlooked your second type of Question slide. And of course you can create your own question slides if you have the courage and use CP4.

Hi all

I never mind another opinion. Information sharing is a good thing. However, in this case I feel it's boiling down to interpretation of the question that was asked.

You are spot on with the ability to have multiple blanks for Fill in the Blank questions. But I don't interpret having multiple blanks as being similar to multiple questions. I suppose I consider them to be a single question consisting of multiple parts. So I wasn't really overlooking that aspect. I was just thinking too literally about what was asked.

I interpreted what was asked to mean something like this:

Can I present a slide where perhaps it appears as if I have four smaller Captivate projects occupying a single slide. Maybe a True/False question is in the upper left and lower right corners while a Multiple Choice question is in the upper right corner and a Fill In The Blank question is in the lower left corner. Sort of like a Frameset would work in the world of HTML.

I'd like to see you expound a bit on what you mean with: And of course you can create your own question slides if you have the  courage and use CP4.

Does that mean you just manipulate the other objects such as Text Captions and Click Boxes so something resembling one of the Captivate question slides is created? Ore are you referring to the ability to use Flash to create a Question Slide widget?

Cheers all... Rick

Hello Rick,

Totally agree that it is an interpretation of the question. But what I meant for the FIB-question is that you can put different sentences, since it allows multiple blanks, and you can arrange it as if there are multiple FIB-questions. A mixture of FIB and True/False is not possible at all, and multiple True/False is not possible either.

Sorry if this caused confusion, did not meant it to be...And English is not my native language, perhaps my misunderstood interpretation was due to that?

Proper Question slides: was talking about constructing them with standard non-active and active objects within Captivate. This is possible for True/False questions, also for FIB where you need a combobox widget if you want to simulate dropdown lists. Did not mean the questions to be developed in Flash as widgets.
