Question

True/False with Only one option

I'm trying to have a graded True/False slide that only has one answer (T). Is this possible? Or is there a way to 'hide' the False answer? I tried covering it with a shape, but that didn't work. Or is it possible to have it so that if two options are visible, and I've labeled them both true, that either answer would be accepted as correct and record the points for tracking purposes? Thanks.

An alternative is to use the Radiobuttons learning interaction to create a custom question slide. It can be reduced to one radio utton. Because that interaction is static, not interactive, you cannot attach a score to it. But that score can easily be attached to a button on that slide (Next button, Submit button).

Thanks for the help, Lily! I'll play around with that for the next time I run into this situation.

Drag the False answer caption to the edge of the slide so that only part of the caption is still sitting on the slide.  This will mean the learner cannot see any of the text in that answer caption but the fact that at least SOME of it is still sitting on the slide will mean that Captivate still counts it as being present and accounted for.  The learner will only see the True option to be selected and can only interact with that option.

I had tried dragging it off the slide, but the false answer caption was stuck in the answer field. I was able to expand that field to be off slide and then moved the false answer off as well. Thanks for your help!
