Tutorial for a simple drag and drop tutorial or template in Captivate

I am looking for a tutorial that shows the basic drag and drop functionality. The ones Ive found so far are a bit more advanced for what we ae looking for.

We just want a static image of the EMR chart at the top of the screen and 'paperwork' comes in from the bottom left. Our new Medical Records employees will then just drag the 'form' onto the correct tab to file it, and be graded accordingly. Thank you

Can you please tell which version you are using? You can find the version number under the option 'About Captivate', which you find in the Help menu (Win) or Captivate menu (Mac). This is so important because at this moment two completely different versions are around with different terminology, UI and workflows.

It could also help if you post an 'image' to explain. You want one drop target (chart), but you explain that you want motion effects (or animations in the other version) for the drag sources? How many drag sources? Does this need to be in sequence? Although I have posted many blog posts about D&D, I have only one video online, all for the now labeled "Classic Captivate". Most probably too advanced? Link to the video:

I have made up a basic image of what I am trying to do. Looking at the image, I don't really need to animate the 'document types', where I can just replace the text in the image once they drag the document to the correct tab. So I am thinking that the only animation would be the dragging of the document to one of the tabs.

As far as the version of Captivate, I am waiting on my supervisor to get me a license from our IT department and will update with that information as soon as I have it. Thank you

As long as I do not know the version, it makes no sense to try to explain.

I could do it for Captivate Classic but you may want to use the new version which is more limited and different in approach.

What needs to be dragged to what? The action to drag is not an animation, it is done by the learner.$ who moves the drag source to the drop target. They can snap together in one of the corners. You can have a submit button, and define what needs to happen if the drag action was correct, and what if it was wrong. I still do not understand what you mean by A and B?

Can you have a look at that video? Or do you want me to give you a link to a Captivate output with a D&D activity?
