Typing text not working on slide replay

Question

Slide 5 here has a typing text element. There is also a replay button, with the following advanced action.

When I press Replay in HTML5 (as per the link above), the typing text does not redraw. When I press Replay in either Preview or Flash, it redraws as expected.

Is there a workaround i.e. how do I force the typing text off the page at the start of the slide?

I don't know how you tested, but from my experience the action you are using is not always totally replaying the slide because you do not re-enter the slide. You can have a look at the second scenario in this blog post, where I explain the difference between just replay the slide or re-entering the slide:

To be honest, I didn't check it for your problem, but it could be worth trying.
