Unable to install Captivate 2017, please help.

    Try this...

    1. Close Adobe Captivate or any other Adobe applications that might be running as well
    2. Down the following file AASlapp.exe 
    3. Once you have downloaded the file copy it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\P7
    1. Try launching Captivate again and see if it works.

    First time installation and the mentioned folder does not exist under  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\P7
