Unable to Open Captivate 2019 files in Captivate 2023

Hi all,

 

I cannot open any of the Captivate files I created in the older version after the update. Did anyone face the same issue? Any support is much appreciated.

    Both version are completely incompatible and probably will never be.  Moreover the new version can only create responsive projects. You didn't mention which type of projects you created in the older versions. Relating to my consultancy jobs, still a minority were created as responsive (Fluid Boxes). But even a responsive project created with CP2019 cannot be opened in the new version. It is one of the reasons why you are entitled to continue using CP2019 in parallel with the new version within the same license.

      Can someone give me some insight into how to get 2019 downloaded?  Just got a new laptop and every time I run install, it is downloading the 2023 version, cannot find 2019.

      Any help is appreciated!

      Maybe try to download from Prodesign Tools:

      https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-captivate-2019-direct-download-links.html

      It is possible that it is not the most recent version of CP2019, but you could be able to update. If you also install the new version, you need to have 11.8.2 for CP2019.
