Unable to scrub playhead on the timeline Cap8

I use Captivate 8 and have been working on a project for weeks. All of a sudden today I am unable to manually move or "scrub" the playhead (red bar) on my timeline to view the progression of my slide. Is this a setting somewhere?

    No setting AFAIK. Can you still use the play button on the Timeline to play the slide?

    Yes I can use the play button but I can’t move the playhead freely about the timeline anymore, so I have to play and then pause where I need to be to insert my next item. It’s weird.

    Did you try to restart Captivate, your system? If the issue is 'sticking', try to Clear the Preferences while CP is closed by using the CleanPreferences file in the subfolder 'Utils' of the Captivate installation folder.
