Unable to Sign In to launch Captivate 8

I am launching the trial version of Captivate 8 - it gets to the Adobe Sign In required portion. I click Sign In and it just thinks non-stop, then pops up "Please connect to the internet and retry". I am connected to the internet and my clock is accurately set on the computer. Is there something else I need to be doing?
