Unexpectedly we are getting an error about deleting slides from PPT that are being used in Captivate

This is the error that we are getting. I understand what the error is and when it appears but the problem is we are getting this error even though we are not deleting any slides.  In addition, if we go in and make a change to a linked presentation, again without deleting any slides, we sometimes get this error. If we click yes, it clears out all the slides that you check to update and adds the changed slides to the end of the presentation. if we click no, nothing happens.
