Uninstall the Captviate 5.5 need the administrator privilege?

Hello, everyone,

To install the Captivate 5.5 need the Administrator privilege....

If I don't have Administrator privilege, Can I UNinstall the Captivate 5.5?

    No and I would never want that to be possible, it would create a chaos in most companies, colleges, etc....

    Installing and uninstalling software on most OSs requires administrator privileges.

    My OS is Windows XP/Windows 7

    1. These two OS need the administrator privileges to uninstall the Captivate 5.5 ?

    2. Why Captivate 5.5 need the administrator priveleges to uninstallation ?

    Hello,

    This is not typical for CP5.5 but AFAIK for all applications: what is the use of an administrator function if any user can uninstall applications? If this would be possible think I wouldn't be able to teach a lot in college, because students would be able to unistall applications. Sorry for the kidding
