Update from Captivate 7 to latest version

Hello! I want to update my Captivate 7 to the latest version 2017 realise.

The question is: are the projects in version 7 compatible with the latest version? Are the source files kept or do I have to make them new? I await comments Thank you!

That is a big leap! You can try to update, but expect to need some editing to do. Lot has changed in all those years. Be sure to keep the 7 version!

    You will be able to open CP7 files in CP2017 normally but the reverse is not possible. Be especially careful with Quiz slides, they often lead to upgrade problems. You probably will now want to switch from SWF output to HTML5 output. HTML5 output doesn't support all the objects that are supported for SWF output. There is a HTML5 Tracker in the Project menu.

    Did you use advanced actions? That could also lead to upgrade issues.
