updating a published Captivate with quiz

Hi,

I have a published Captivate (9) course that contains a quiz, and that has been completed by some of the learners, some successfully, some not. 

When published originally, the quiz only allowed only 1 take, which means that those who didn't pass couldn't retake the quiz. So, the course was revised to allow multiple attempts. It has been published and uploaded to our LMS (NetLearning).

The problem is the learners who took and did not pass the quiz originally, do not see an option to retake the quiz in the revised course. Is there anything that can be done, short of having them retake the revised course all over again?

    Have you tried SHIFT + F5 from within the browser? Perhaps the old course is still in the user's cache. Pressing that key combination should force reload the course in its current version. No promises but worth trying. You may still have to reset it in the LMS as Lilybiri suggests but I would try that first.

    I suspect you'll have to reset it in the LMS. Captivate already transferred to the LMS that the user didn't succeed and attempts are exhausted.
