upgrade 2017 to 2019

Do we just install over the top of 2017 or do we need to uninstall 2017 ffirst? And what about the 2017 asssets? Just leave or try to uninstall?

If this is an upgrade for a perpetual license, and you paid the upgrade

price, I suspect you will indeed have to update CP2017. That is not the

case for a subscription license.

No need. You can install 2019 and maintain 2017. If you are on subscription, just install 2019 as if you are using it as a trial. Make sure you sign in with your Adobe ID from the Help menu and the activation servers will recognize you are licensed.
