Upgrade from Presenter 11 to 11.1

Hi,

I purchased the standalone version of Presenter 11 (not subscription model) less than a year ago and am having issues with Office 2016 integration (HTML output specifically). Is 11.1 upgrade only for the subscription model? I've done the check for updates and it says that all software is up to date but i'm still only on Presenter 11.

Surely i don't need to purchase the software for 11.1 from 11?

Hi,

You definitely do not have to purchase Presenter 11.1 version if you have already purchased Presenter 11.

Serial key of Presenter 11 will not work in Presenter 11.1.

Please contact adobe support (Contact Customer Care ) for the new Serial key of Presenter 11.1 after providing your existing serial key of presenter 11.

That seems like a pretty critical bit of information missing from the release notes. It clearly tells users to download the new installer and go through the uninstall/install process. I would think that could lead to many customers being pretty surprised when their serial key didn't work. Any chance the Release notes could be updated?

Based on the Release Notes for Presenter 11.1, it looks like it will require a complete uninstall and re-install of Presenter. The page does provide a link to the updated page for Presenter, but I don't see the 11.1 option there yet (only 3 days into the 11.1 release as of this moment). However, by downloading the installer from the Presenter product page (use the Free Trial button) you should get you the 11.1 installer.

Adobe Presenter 11.1 Release Notes

Using the Updates option in Presenter doesn't show the 11.1 update, but this could again be because it isn't available on the updates page.

You should be eligible for the upgrade, and your existing serial key should work. I don't see anything in the release notes that indicates that non-subscription users would be ineligible.
