Upgrade from Trial to Full version - what happens to expired files

Good afternoon Forum members

I have been creating some Scorm based files and uploading them onto Moodle and these have now expired due to me using a trail version of Captivate 9 and 2017.

When I purchase the full version of 2017 how do I get these working again?

Appreciate you time in helping me out on this one as I have so far found the Adobe support very poor when trying to ask this question using the phone system.

Regards

SteveS

You have to republish the cptx files with the licensed version and upload them again to the LMS. It will not happen automatically, sorry.

    Hi There,

While Captivate expiring would NOT affect the offline outputs such as mp4, PDFs and other printed outputs e.g. StoryBoards OR Handouts, for SWF/HTML5 modules hosted on Moodle (or any LMS) please republish the projects and host again,  as Lilybiri has suggested.

About the Adobe Captivate Phone support, you could either contact them via chat or email on tcssup@adobe.com.

Here is a site from Adobe about help available on Captivate - Adobe Captivate Learn & Support

Use this to start a direct chat with one of the reps in Adobe Captivate team - chat-console

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Again thank you for your response, however I tried to use the phone and chat services in New Zealand and went through 8 voice prompt steps to be told they do not provide telephone support for Captivate and the online support section the chat option disappears when you choose captivate and if you choose other options you return to the starting screen for support.

I did manage to get a an 0800 number for support for new Zealand and the lady who answered said I needed to talk to technical support and supplied another number that would not work.

Hence my comment about the lack of support for this application, obviously a poor cousin to the Creative Suite.

Still the Forum worked a treat so in this case that is a big tick to those who support this forum.
