Question

Upgraded to Captivate 6 and now FLV files won't play when published

Hi there,

I have a project with several FLVs in it which I originally created using Captivate 5.5. Since upgrading to version 6 the FLV files no longer work when the project is published as an SWF. I've tried re-importing them via video/insert video... and then choosing 'event video' and browsing for the file path on my computer but the same happens. When I play the published SWF, where the video should be it just shows the playback bar and a little progress bar in the top left - nothing happens when you press play, and however long I leave it the film never plays.

The FLVs are all in the same folder as the Captivate file, and I'm publishing to the same folder (and I've tried publishing to a different folder but the same happens). They are all saved locally on my computer.

If I just preview the page with the FLV in it will play the film.

I'm using a Mac, and the FLVs were created in Sorenson Squeeze 6.5.

Thanks in advance for any help.
