Uploading Captivate 9 to YouTube fails

"Publish," "Publish Settings," and "Print" work perfectly. However, "Publish to YouTube" is faded and unattainable. I've never had this issue before and have provided several recordings to YouTube. I did sign up for a month of another Adobe program, hoping to curb this issue, to no avail. Now I have a running address at the bottom of my screen, but the change does nothing to provide any added benefits for $4/mos.

This presentation is an imperative addition to my hiring professional profile. The item called Strategic Training is listed on my personal page in an unacceptable fashion. MJ Brewer's Portfolio. Please provide necessary information in fixing the issue.

P.S. Judging from the inconsistent responses, one wonders if a live person from Adobe ever sees these posts.

Thank you,

MJ Brewer

Glad you got it sorted! I wasn't aware of that limitation (I rarely, if ever, publish to youtube).

For the 'tinny' issue, that's almost surely just the audio recording or publishing setting, however it was done.

Just be sure to set a higher audio quality via whatever method you ultimately publish to video.

The issue I was experiencing was because I had recorded it under a "Responsive Project," and YouTube will not transfer as such. I needed to simply open the completed project, open a "Blank Project," and then commence to copy and paste the entire program. Even the audio transferred.

Hopefully, this will accommodate someone else as well.

If you see the help document about YouTube publishing from Adobe, you will notice the first thing is a Note that reads:

    "

    Note:

This document is applicable only for blank or non-responsive projects made with Adobe Captivate.

    "

So I guess, resources are already out there for us to find and troubleshoot most of these problems.

Here is the document - Publish projects as MP4 files with Adobe Captivate

I don't know how to fix that particular issue.

However, doesn't 'Publish to YouTube' just upload a video to your YouTube account?

If so, just do it manually...

    Publish to video.

Login to your YouTube account in your browser.

    Upload the published video.

Or is there something specific in the Captivate feature I'm overlooking?

Actually, if you go to the included link and view that particular video, you'll notice I've recorded it and then submitted to YouTube separately. It sounds tinny and high-pitched. Thanks for responding.
