Uploading to SABA LCMS

I have an aggregated file of 11 swf files w/ audio and am getting rediculous loading times even with each file set at 65% preloaded. The largest file is 85Mb and no file has more than 60 slides. I don't want to lower my quality and wanted to know if there is another way to run these concurrent files so that they can be viewed from the LCMS in less time. Any thoughts?

The issue isn't with SABA LCMS, but your filesize. 85MB is huge and regardless of the LMS you would have some nasty loading times.

I bet that you are using audio in your course and in that case the preloader won't work unless you have set the audio to start at 0.1 seconds into the slide and not 0.0 seconds. The reason for that is that Captivate creates one large combined audio file, which is placed at slide 1. Therefore if you have 60MB of audio in your course all this will be placed on slide 1 and the preloader disregarded.

You can read more about the audio / preloader issue here: http://www.cpguru.com/2009/05/25/preloader-tips-when-using-audio-in-your-project/

This might be able to help you out a bit in regards to the loading time but the only real solution is to adjust the quality of the file or get a faster internet connection ;o)
