I am getting duplicate pop up boxes appearing when I try and use captivate to capture a user experience.  If I use the software without captivate I never get the duplicate boxes.  I need to finish this project tomorrow, so i urgently need some help!!

Here is what it looks like.

    Hi Kate,

If the problem is happening with this step only then you may try a workaround as mentioned below

    1) Take a snapshot (using Print screen) of the software at the point when it displays this dialog. (without turning on Captivate capture)

    2) Create a new slide and use the captured snapshot as background.

    3) Add other things (e.g. captions. clickboxes, etc.) as were there on the captured slide (you can check how many items are there on the timeline of the captured slide which has 2 dialog boxes, and can copy those to the newly added slide)

    4) Delete the captured slide.

    Hi Rahul,

    Thanks for your quick response.

That might be the only way around it. Unfortunately it affects the

majority of the slides, so it makes capture not worth using really.

    Thank you very much, Kate

    Hello Kate,

Can you give me the following details?

    1. Which operating System are you in?

    2. Does it happen when you try Full Motion Recording also?

    3. Does it happen only when you are capturing or even just by having captivate open?

    Thanks,

    Vish
