Urgent help required: Restore variable value assigned in previous session

Restore variable value assigned in previous session.

I am looking to restore the value assigned to a variable in previous session. I have learned that I we do not put any value in value field of variables, captivate will automatically restore the value assigned to the variable in previous session. Captivate stores value in suspend data.

I could also find out a good example along with source and published file by Jim Leichliter. However if uploaded the published file at Moodle it works fine. But if open the source file in Captivate 5 and publish it without making any changes and upload it to Moodle. It does not work.

Any thoughts or ideas are highly appreciated.

    It should work for both.

    Hi Gyanendra,

Make sure you have SCORM 2004 settings turned on and that you are in fact sending the suspend data... meaining you have the "Interactions and Score" radio button selected:

Also, under "LMS Customization Settings..." make sure the "Never Send Resume Data" checkbox is unchecked.

Try those settings and see if that helps.

    Thank you so much

Could you please confirm if this would work only for SCORM 2004 and not in SCORM 1.2.

    Thanks again!
