URGENT - random pretest in various locations not possible!?

Sorry for the possibly new-bee question, but I'm trying to insert random no-point pretest slides throughout my fairly short (17 pages) course, but every new pretest quiz slide attaches to the very first one I created.  Can't rearrange with Filmstrip, re-paste elsewhere...  no joy.

Adobe Chat says there's no way to pull this off.  Really?  Urgently want to understand this.

If this is not possible, then I vote that Captivate 10 get this done.

You can use regular question slides and then give them a point score of zero.  Pretests are normally used in one group at the beginning of training to see what the student knows about the subject and not interspersed throughout a course as Knowledge Checks. (at least in my world) So that might be why Captivate keeps putting them all together.

Adobe's idea of a pre-test is just that, at test before any content. Captivate enforces this by only allowing pretest questions and the beginning of the course, and all together.

I can't say I disagree with your reaction to this, as I've not used the pretest because of this limitation.

You're approach may be like a knowledge check, where the content is chunked into lessons, with a pre-test before the lesson and knowledge check (K/C) after the lesson, then a final exam created by combining the K/C questions into a randomized pool of questions.

I'm not sure support for this technique is on the list for Cp10, but I'd hope so!
