URL Hyperlink set to New - opens new tab in testing but not once published to SCORM1.2

Hi folks. I have a project that has several hyperlinks (set to open New tabs) to Sharepoint pages on our intranet. When I test them either with prevewing using HTML In Broswer or the in-built preview in Caprivate (2019) this works fine but once I publish the project in SCORM1.2 when a user clicks on the hyperlink it closes the eLearning and opens up the hyperlink. 

Any ideas what could be happening?
