Use Smartshape for Rollover Caption

I have inserted a Rollover Caption in Captivate 2017.  Instead of selecting a Caption Type, however, I would like to use a Smartshape for the caption so I can more easily customize its appearance.  Can I do this?  Thanks

      Each shape can be used as a rollover shape. Use the right-click menu to convert any shape t a rollover shape.
