Using a Mac and Captivate 9 trial

Trouble changing slide duration. There is no response to clicking on timeline and the clock below is at zero although there is 3 seconds on the timeline. I have Captivate 8 and found it very frustrating and was hoping this would be as straightforward as the promises promise. . . .

Thanks but it still doesn't work. I think it is something to do with the Master slide. On all slides it marks three seconds and has END displayed just outside the top level.

Try dragging the end of the timeline layer.  You don't need to click it. Just drag it.

Alternatively, look at the Timing tab and set the Slide Duration there.  If you don't see this tab in the Properties area, activate it from the Windows menu.
