Using captions with multistate slide

Is there a way to have captions show when viewing a multistate slide parts?

I can apply captions to the main audio, but when you click into the state view there is no option to apply it to audio there.

Captivate's Closed Captioning workflow is only available for slide audio since that is the only audio type which is perfectly synchronized to the Timeline.

Audio linked to states in a multi-state objects is Object audio, not linked to the timeline but to the object. You cannot use the CC workflow for that reason. Make sure that the spoken text is also in the states, or at least the most important content.
