Question

Using Captivate 8 - web object appears in upper left corner of published file's slide, not where it was positioned.

I'm using the Web Object to insert a Vimeo video into a slide.  I have clicked the "Lock Size and Position" box for this web object.  It appears correctly on the slide within Captivate.  However, when I publish it as a swf file, the video appears in the upper left corner covering up some of the text on the screen.  How can I force it to stay in the correct position?

Are you publishing to SWF or HTML5?

I'm publishing to SWF.  I reproduced the problem by creating a one page project.  I put one text box on the left side and put in the Adobe default video by clicking the Objects icon and then selecting Web.  This is the result when it's published as a swf file:

I am expecting to see the video on the right hand side not outside the presentation area covering up the text on the right hand side.  This is what it looks like within Adobe Captivate before publishing:

It appears you are using a scalable option. The WO won't scale with the swf when using scalable.
