Using inbuilt captivate quiz functions outside of quiz slides

Is there a way to use some of the inbuilt Quiz question features of Captivate outside of the quiz slides, perhaps as an interactive widget? In particular, Im interested in hotspots and the dropdown list version of 'Fill-in-the-blanks'.

These components cannot be separated from the quiz slide types at the moment.

You can replicate the functionality of a Hot Spot quiz question to a fair degree using click boxes or transparent buttons, together with some variables and Conditiional Advanced Actions.

As for the dropdown list, check out the ComboBox and ListBox widgets that ship with Captivate 5x.  They might be similar to what you want.  However, be warned, I have heard rumours that these widgets have some memory leak issues.

So you'll need to test them thoroughly to ensure they won't cause more issues than they solve.

    Thanks Rod

I will have to investigate and hunt down the best option then.
