Question

Using Rollovers for moving to submenus

I am trying to mimic how the user will click on a menu then hover over submenu A then submenu A1, then click on submenu A1a. I thought I was being slick because work wonderfully. But I realized that rollover area for A1 and A1a worked regardless if I selected the mani menu or submenu A.

I tried a slidelet but you can't put a slidelet in a slidelet.

How should I do this? Workarounds? Suggestions?

Hi Drc_TO

I think the answer is in Flash rather than Captivate. Mock up the whole thing in flash using onRollOver/Out functions and publish it. You then insert the swf into a blank slide (or one with the background you want). You'll need to use Captivate variables to stop it running away with you though.

Hope this helps

Hi AJ

That may be a superb suggestion, IF (and that's a big ole IF there ) the person meets the following requirements:

a: They have Flash available
b: They know how to make it work

Hi Rick,

Of course - you're right. I think I'll create a mock up to show what I mean - but not today - it's Christmas party time :)

Cheers
