Using Slide Notes within a published lesson

Hi there,

Is it possible to give the learner the option to access slide notes? This is a lesson with no audio, so there is no closed caption. The Captivate lesson was made from imported PowerPoint slides. In the PowerPoints, many slides have info in the Notes panel that expands on the content shown in the PowerPoint's main pane. These slide notes were used by trainers to expand on lesson topics. Future instructors will be using the Captivate lessons, too, so I wondered if there was a button or what-have-you that I could enable so the learners could access the slide notes that came over into Captivate when I imported the PowerPoints. With no audio, and therefore, no Closed Caption, is my idea possible? I have Captivate 7.

Thanks!

Not possible AFAIK. You can turn them quickly into CC. Or you should have to copy/paste the slide notes to a pdf, and have a button that can open the pdf. Or you can copy/paste them to a text container that is hidden, and have a toggle button to open/close that text container?

Can I turn them into CC if I do not have audio?

The text container is a creative solution.

Thanks, Lilybiri!

No, you need audio. Be creative: create a very short audio clip with silence or bit of room noise. You can copy that clip to each slide and there you go with CC.
