Using Triggers and Audio in Presenter 11

I am new to Presenter 11 and have been asked to take a pptx that uses triggers for buttons and actions.  When previewing in Presenter, the buttons did not work.  Then converted the trigger to a hyperlink but the audio repeats when returned to the based slide.

Base slide has three buttons that are now hyperlinks to other slides and then returns to the base

Any support would be appreciated to resolve these issues
