Is there any way to validate that you have typed soething into a fill-in-the-balnk quiz question? No right or wrong answers, just that you typed something?  Thanks,Kurt

Hi there,

You can convert the question type to Survey type.. Survey type accepts any input. Also no points will be added to the quiz.

With the question slide in focus click on the "Edit question" button on the top left of the stage. In options tab set the question type to Survey question from the drop down

Hey Ashwin,

I tried that but for some reason my LMS reports still shows that I failed - even when I set up the 'quiz' as optional.
