Variables not working in Firefox

Good day,

I'm working from a how-to book. I created a string variable called learnerName, set up a slide where the user typed the value for this variable into a text box, and displayed what they typed in the next slide. Think, "Hello, $$learnerName$$. Welcome to the course."

I tried previewing it in my Firefox browser, (default for me), and I got the Something went wrong! error. No visual whatsoever. On a hunch, I tried it in Chrome and it worked perfectly.

So, in the end, no real problem I suppose. Just wanted to write this down somewhere.

Windows 11, Firefox 121.0.

Please, probably a bug. You can log it from within Captivate, in the Help menu.

Can yiy please specify the full version number? From your description I know it is version 12. This has always been so simple in all version, except this one.

Because you point explicitly to FF, have you ever tried with Chrome or Edge, to define if it is a global problem or a FF one? Moreover, could you test also the published version?

Hi.  It's version 12.2.0.19, and works fine in Chrome while not working in Firefox. The published version worked/didn't work the same as the preview version.
