Video Choppy in version 5 but not 4

My organization is having an issue after updating to the latest version of captivate 5.5 from version 4. The videos get choppy and actually stop even though they are not streamed. The same videos processed in Captivate 4 view nice and smooth.


Delivery: Captivate Projects are delivered to a local drive and are NOT streamed, through delivery software.

Flash Plugin Version: 10.3

Browser: IE7


Troubleshooting steps accomplished:

Captivate 4 project.- Plays fine.

Captivate 5 project - Plays choppy.

Captivate 4 project converted to Captivate 5.5 file - Plays choppy.

Changed compression

Changed flash plugin from 9 to 10.3

Changed project swf size and quality: Advanced project compression/ Compressed swf File.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

What codec are you using for the videos?

We were able to get it working after adjusting hardware settings.

Flash 9 was the culprit in the end because it does not unload as3 videos.
